About Kestrel10

Kestrel10 is a software studio based in Scotland. We build and run our own products, and take on select backend engineering work alongside them.

The studio was founded by Jay Cornwell, a backend engineer with 25 years of commercial software development experience — most recently managing backend architecture for an AI-driven InsurTech platform, designing the APIs, data pipelines and Azure infrastructure behind real-time visual assistance and spatial measurement tools used by property professionals. Before that, two decades architecting systems for organisations ranging from FTSE 100 companies to small independent clients.

That experience sets how we work: take ambiguous requirements and turn them into software that holds up in production. Correctness first, and a system that stays cheap to run once it is live.

Our first product is PostShuttle, a scheduling and cross-posting tool for solo founders and small teams.
